Connecting a new store to a merchant

    Hi,
    I currently have a couple of websites I created for clients in the Wix platform. One of them is a homeowners association. They wanted me to create a store where residents can pay their H.O.A. fees online. That store has to use Authorize.net to connect to a local merchant bank, where they have their bank account, and Wix no longer lets me connect to them. So I’m recreating the website in WordPress and wanted to know how do you recommend I create that store (via Woo ?) and later connect it to Authorize?

    Hi there,

    What is the URL of the WordPress site you’re building? You’ve posted in the forums for the hosting platform, WordPress.com, and your account doesn’t own any sites hosted on our servers. We’re not the same thing as the open source WordPress software made on WordPress.org, and what you’ll be using if you’re building this site on your own server or another hosting provider.

    WooCommerce is one option for this, and generally what we recommend for online stores, but it might be overkill if all you want is a payment portal for a single “product”, as it were.

    You can contact support at WooCommerce directly to ask how their plugin can be used for something like this:

    Or else you can ask for suggestions on the best way to build something that will serve your needs in the WordPress.org forums – there might be other, simpler plugins that will do what you want and that would be much simpler to set up and maintain:
