Connecting custom domain name

Hi!
I have set up my website using EasyWP Turbo hosting and now I want to connect my domain name (that I bought though different registrar). However, it appears that if I want to have a custom domain, I need to purchase one of the WordPress plans. Wasn’t the whole point of my hosting plan to avoid this?

It looks like your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted at EasyWP Turbo.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.

You should reach out to your host for help with this. Since they’re hosting your site’s files, they also have access to those files and would be the best one to advise how to get your domain set up there.
