Connecting custom domain to Business Plan

    Hello,

    I have a Business Plan but it’s telling me I can’t connect a custom domain. I have a custom domain that was associated with my account and a website that I built for that domain, but now a new domain and website are associated with the account and I can’t seem to recover my previous website.

    Self-declared URL: ethnobotanygarden.com
    Jetpack: Unknown
    WP.com: Unknown

    Hi @mdares,

    I’ve checked your account and found that your Business plan has expired, and your site has reverted to the Free plan. As a result, your website is no longer accessible through your custom domain.

    To restore the connection between your site and your domain, you’ll need to upgrade to a paid plan. Once the upgrade is complete, you can reconnect your domain by following the steps outlined here:

    Thanks for the reply, kaichicha.

    Can you confirm that if I renew my plan, that my ethnobotanygarden.com website will be restored to its original state before the expiration date? I have no other backup, and need to ensure it will be recovered if I renew the plan.

    Once you upgrade your site again to the Business Plan, you’ll be able to restore it from a backup by following the steps in this guide:
