connecting domain

  it says i need a pro plan to connect my domain but still gives me the option to connect it when i choose the starter plan but on the previous page it says only the pro plan can connect domains

  can someone clarify which is correct thank you

  You can connect your existing domain with any paid WordPress.com plan (Starter or Pro).
