    If you already own a domain name with another provider, you can use that domain with your WordPress.com site. Once you complete the steps below, instead of your site address being something like yourgroovysite.wordpress.com, your site’s address will be something like yourgroovydomain.com. Follow the steps in this guide to keep your domain registered with your current provider and use it to show

    Please note that you’ll need a plan to connect your domain. I recommend the Premium or the Personal plan if you’re just starting out.

    If you want to use plugins and third-party themes, then the Business plan is the one to get.
