I have a registered domain. Why do I need again to pay for a domain. This is because when I insert my registered domain, I am being taken to a page that requires to pay for the same domain.

Jetpack: No

Hey there,
Thanks for reaching out, I get the sense there’s some confusion going on which I can clear up.
So to reassure you, if you already have the domain with another provider, you wouldn’t need to pay again for this – it’s actually not possible to do that.
Instead, it’s possible to connect the domain from the registrar to WordPress.com, as per these instructions: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/
The name servers of the domain would need to change to:
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.comNow, in order to set a custom primary domain, a paid plan would need to be in place, at the minimum the personal plan.
It looks like this could be a magazine style site, is that correct? The reason why I ask is because it looks like a premium content block is in use.
I hope this helps.
