Connecting domain

  I have a site on WordPress, but recently transferred hosts. I’m trying to figure out how to get the DNS numbers and CNAME info to reconnect to my site here on wordpress

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  This only gets me so far. My domain server is asking for more info that doesn’t seem to line up with what WordPress is saying. I need an IP address to point to for the A(host) name. I found one but am getting an error when I go to my page saying “The A Record for theroadtoethical.com is set to a WordPress.com nameserver.”

  Hi there,

  Is this for http://www.theroadtoethical.com? That site is not hosted on WordPress.com, so you can’t “reconnect” that domain to WordPress.com as it has never been connected here to start with.

  You are using the self-hosted WordPress.org software on that site, and you used to have it hosted with Bluehost. That is the site you had connected here via the Jetpack plugin (Note: the site was connected to your account. The domain has never been connected to a WordPress.com site.)

  Now your domain is pointing at Wix, meaning you no longer have a WordPress site at that domain, and the Jetpack connection on our end is broken. If your domain should still be pointing at your WordPress site, you need to contact Bluehost and Wix to sort this out, as we have no control over or access to either your domain or your site.
