Connecting downloads to Paypal 'Buy Now' buttons

  Hi, I have navigated my way around setting up Buy Now buttons on my blog, but do not know how to set it up so that, should someone click on them and buy something, they are redirected to a link for the actual download they have purchased.

  The redirect you want is not possible on WordPressdotcom sites.

  When you receive the notification from PayPal, you would need to send the purchaser an email with the download link.

  One other thing. Every Public site on WordPressdotcom is crawled and indexed by search engines, including their site’s Media Library. It might be better for you to upload and store your purchasable download files on a 3rd party service like dropbox, cloudup, etc. so that they don’t end up cached in search engine returns.
