Hi there!
I see that you added a domain connection for xntricities.com, that’s step one done. Next, you’d want to point the domain to your WordPress.com site. This can be done on your domain registrar’s end. But first, do you have any email services connected to the domain?
If not, the easiest option is to add the WordPress.com nameservers to the domain.
The WordPress.com nameservers are:
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.comYou can contact your domain registrar and ask them to do this for you or you can do it yourself from the domain registrar’s website. The domain registrar is the company where you registered the domain.
It may take up to 72 hours for the nameserver change to take effect after they have been updated.
Note that if you have email services with the domain, you will need to copy the DNS records for the email services to WordPress.com as well. You can also contact your email service provider to send you the required DNS records and we can help you add those to your domain here on WordPress.com.
After 72 hours, you can set your custom domain as the primary address of your site so that xntricities.com loads your WordPress.com site.
Your primary site address is the domain that people will see in their browser’s address bar when visiting your site. It is the address you use to promote your website. Requirements To use a domain as your site’s primary address, you will need: A domain registered or connected to WordPress.com. Any paid WordPress.com plan. With a paid WordPress.com plan, you can set a custom doFeel free to let us know if you have more questions.

Thank you. They unlocked my domain. And asked me to reconnect with WordPress. I will go back to them with this now. Thanks again.

When I visit the xntricities.com domain, I’m redirected to xntricitiescom.wordpress.com, indicating that the NS records have been updated, at least from our end. To see if this resolves the issue, try clearing your browser cache. If not, it may take a few more hours for the changes to fully propagate to your location.
Afterward, you’ll need to access your domain settings to designate your domain as the primary URL for your site. You can follow the instructions provided here: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/set-a-primary-address/
I hope this explanation helps! If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out. We’re here to help!

From my experience, I say that you’ll need to log into your GoDaddy account. Once you’re in find the domain you want to connect to your WordPress site and open it’s setting. Your goal here is to adjust the DNS settings, which might sound a bit technical but it’s essentially telling your domain where to point to. For WordPress.com they usually ask you to update your domain’s nameservers to theirs which are something like ns.wordpress.com, ns2.wordpress.com, ns3.wordpress.com. If WordPress has given you specific DNS records instead like A records or Cname records, you’ll want to add those
