Connecting Mail Chimp and WordPress
-
I’m already using Mail Chimp to send out emails. However, I’d like these to post automatically to a blog format. Is there a way to make this happen on WordPress or somehow connect the two?

Really frustrated at how hard it is to do this as well and would love any solution that you find. I even asked Mail Chimp and they really had no idea how to do it. Tried using a text widget but the photo of the sign up form did not show. I can add the URL this way but it is not clickable so is not a link. When I tried copying in a suggested code, wordpress changed it on saving…don’t understand code really. Good luck with your search for solutions.

It sounds to me like there are two different issues here.
@amm736 The first is auto-posting your new posts to subscribers via MailChimp, but I don’t see any content on the site linked to your username. What is the site you need help with, starting with https:// to make it clickable
@cheryle1 The second is connecting a MailChimp subscription widget to your WordPress.com site, yes? If so, the answer you received from MailChimp is a little odd because they have a knowledge base document on this http://kb.mailchimp.com/lists/signup-forms/ways-to-add-a-signup-form-in-wordpress#If-You-Have-a-WordPress.com-Site.
When you have that link to your sign up form on MailChimp, you can then add it in a text widget in your site’s sidebar or as a Custom link in a Custom menu.
