Connecting MS Word

  I have the latest word and I want to connect to my WordPress site. I like the editing features in word and the grammar check. When I tried to connect I get an error saying unavailable. When I tried to go to the URL for the file needed for Word the file is there so I don’t know why Word will not connect to it.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi –

  There’s 2 different versions of WordPress. Your site is using the open source WordPress.org software. It’s not using out managed hosting environment from WordPress.com.

  It allows me to enter the URL to the file. So Word will not work with a self-hosted site?

  Although there are some articles that provide directions on how to connect Word with the self-hosted version of WordPress, they are all pretty dated.
