connecting my domain

  Hello,

  I am trying to connect my current domain to wordpress to run a portfolio to showcase my art and doodles and keep on trying to get charged? It says it is free then tries to charge me $300 on the next step? Please help

  It isn’t free to connect a domain you own elsewhere to a site here at WordPress.com but the Personal plan would be the cheapest way to do it.

  Hi! In addition to what themagicrobot mentioned, were you wanting to create the portfolio and keep it relatively simple to show off your art? If so then it does sound like the Personal plan might fit:

  The one you’re seeing in your cart at the moment is the Business plan – you can of course remove that if you’re not in need of any plugins or the extra features it offers!
