Connecting my domaine so i can use the website design in made in Square Space

    Hey,

    I made a wordpress account and bought my domaine, but i ended up making the website in Sqaure Space because it was faster and needed it done quickly. Now i am trying to connect my page in Sqaure Space with my domain in WordPress, so i can use the domain from WordPress but it goes to the page i made in Sqaure Space – i cannot make it work, please help :)

    I understand you’re trying to connect your domain registered with WordPress.com to your site on Squarespace, but it’s not working as expected.

    Looking at your domain’s DNS settings, I can see that the nameservers are pointing to WordPress.com, and the A records are already pointing to Squarespace. Since the nameservers are set to WordPress.com, all DNS records should be managed from your WordPress.com account.

    With the A records already pointing to Squarespace, your domain should normally load your Squarespace site. If that’s not happening, there might be additional DNS records required to complete the setup.

    I recommend checking with Squarespace support to confirm if any other records, like a CNAME or verification record, are needed. Once you have that information, you can add those records to your DNS settings on WordPress.com.

    You might want to double-check your DNS settings or domain forwarding options, had a similar issue when setting up a project for Lon ltd and tweaking the A and CNAME records did the trick.
