Connecting my other domain to Anchor.fm

    Hello!

    I am seeking to connect my Anchor.fm podcast series to my WordPress site. I just reserved erlifeiselite.wordpress.com to use for my podcast site. For some reason though, when attempting to connect to the WordPress site from my Anchor.fm podcast page, it created an entirely new domain name (erlife6.wordpress.com). Please advise on how I can map my Anchor.fm podcast to the domain erlifeiselite.wordpress.com instead of erlife6.wordpress.com. Thank you very much!

    Hello –

    No worries. We can help you get that sorted out. In the upper left hand corner of your screen when signed in on WordPress.com you’ll see My Sites. Click on that. From there, you can toggle to choose which site you want to work on. Select erlifeiselite.wordpress.com.

    From there, you’ll be able to add the podcast episodes to any post or page on the site. Write back with more questions. We’re happy to help.

    Have you considered registering a custom domain? I’d suggest doing that to match the name of the podcast to your domain. It will help build brand recognition and improve SEO. It can be done as part of the personal plan.
