Connecting subdomain

  Hi – I am trying to get my website to redirect a subdomain -> blog.WEBSITE.com to redirect to my wordpress. how do I do this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Have you read the relevant support doc at http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-subdomain/?

  Map a subdomain (for a domain with an existing website) to your WordPress.com blog – if you already have a website you don’t want to affect, and you want to add a blog to it under a subdomain (for example, blog.yourgroovydomain.com).

  hi it keeps saying that the issue is with wordpress and I need them to get me the DNS records for wix. i do not see this option in the wlrd;ress settings, how do I find this?

  Hi there,

  Did you set up a subdomain at Wix for blog.yourdomain? That subdomain needs to be pointing to your WordPress.com site’s address, alexandriachong.wordpress.com, and then you’ll also need a domain mapping upgrade on this end before it will work. You can add domain mapping using any of our plans under My Site ->Plans.

  Yes. All the plans include a domain mapping upgrade, so you can use the Personal Plan to map the domain. First go to MY Site ->Plans to add the plan, and then go to My Site ->Domains to add the domain mapping upgrade.
