Connecting Testimonials to a Page
-
Hi there,
I have a testimonials section with my theme, but I don’t know how to connect it to a page so they show up. Went into the Reading section in Settings, but no way to link them up.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. First you need to enable the Testimonials content type in Settings ->Writing and add testimonials to your site.
To display the testimonials on your site, you can either add each testimonial to the menu via the custom menu screen, or you can add a regular page and use the testimonials shortcode to display more than one testimonial on the same page. See here for instructions: https://en.support.wordpress.com/testimonials/

Hi, I’m not really adding to the solution here, but asking a question further than the solution. Say I wanted customers to be able to submit testimonials on my web site for approval by the admin (me).
Is this possible?
In the mean time, I’ll see what the documents say, but figured I’d ask a subject matter expert – because that’s just better. :)

I’m hardly an expert :DSame as with posts, pages and projects, only a user of the blog can add testimonials, but you can create a page with a contact form which visitors can use to submit testimonials. Then you can add those you want to use: https://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/
