Connecting to an existing website

  I need to create a new account (why I created this one) for an existing website. Our website was created by a contractor on her account, but for our purposes we need to have our own account. How do I go about this?

  While logged out of any present WordPress.com accounts, go to the page https://wordpress.com/start/delta-discover/user to create a new account.
