Connecting to Facebook

  No matter what I do, my blog will not post to my Facebook page. All of the settings are correct and I have disconnected and reconnected several times. This is very frustrating and discouraging.

  Just to be absolutely sure, are you following the full reconnect procedure, especially the critical step 3?

  Are you able to manually share a link to your post by posting the link on your Facebook wall?

  If not, do you see any errors?

  Manually sharing the link is no problem. I did find a slight workaround using the notes application in FB and importing the blog, but I don’t like it because I want people to read the blog on the WordPress page.

  Do you have any trouble publicizing to your personal Facebook wall (you’ll need to wait until you publish a new post to be sure)?

  It was going to my personal page, but that no longer works either. When I go to post Facebook is checked along with Twitter and Linkedin. Once published it says it was published to Twitter and Linkedin (which it does) but not Facebook. When I go back to the edit post function Facebook is unchecked.

  One more thing to try, Facebook sometimes has some rather bizarre cache issues. Would you please ask a friend (not yourself) to share a link to one of your posts, then reconnect publicize one more time and try again?

  It sounds odd, but this has worked before when Facebook accidentally blocked blog and lifted the block, but Publicize still refused to go through.

  I’ve found a suitable way to do this for my fan page and my group page at the same time by using the Networked Blogs app for Facebook. I really appreciate all your help on this.
