Connecting to FaceBook

WordPress previously would automatically share my posts on Facebook; this month it stopped doing that. (I post once a month.) When I eventually found out that it had disconnected, I clicked ‘connect’, but it will not connect to my Facebook main page, only to a Page I use for my business. I certainly don’t want it to do that, my Blog is a hobby! How can I make it connect to my main page? Interestingly, I updated my About at the same time, and that did share to FB! I’m not very good at blogging so I don’t want any further problems.

What do you mean by your Facebook main page? Can you give a link to the Facebook page you’re trying to connect to?
You should be able to connect to any Facebook page that your Facebook account is an admin for.
Interestingly, I updated my About at the same time, and that did share to FB!
That is not possible. The Publicize feature can only auto-share posts to Facebook, not pages, and it only triggers when a new post is published, never when something already-published is updated. So if your About page was shared to Facebook, that was done manually, not via our auto-share feature.

The link that you shared is not a Facebook Page but a Facebook Profile. Facebook doesn’t allow automatic sharing to profile pages, so you won’t be able to do that.
You can, however, share your posts manually by clicking the Facebook sharing button. This is how you can add it to your site:https://wordpress.com/support/sharing/
