Connecting to my Facebook Page

  Hi. When I try to connect to my Facebook Page, I receive the following:

  The Facebook connection could not be made because this account does not have access to any Pages. Facebook supports Publicize connections to Facebook Pages, but not to Facebook Profiles.

  Halp please. Thanks.

  Hi there,

  Facebook supports Publicize connections to Facebook Pages, but not to Facebook Profiles.

  Are you trying to connect your blog to your own personal Facebook profile? According to the message above, it seems like Facebook only allow connections to Facebook page, not Facebook profile. Most likely, you will need to create a Facebook page (not profile) in order to make the connection work.

  Hi, if that’s the issue, then make sure 1) the page you are trying to connect is linked to the Facebook profile you logged in with and have access to, and 2) the page you are trying to connect is published.

  Hi there,

  You should be able to connect Publicise to Facebook pages, but this seems to be a common issue. Could you please try the following:

  1. Head to https://wordpress.com/sharing/jeanneann.video.blog and disconnect Facebook
  2. Go to https://web.facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools and remove the WordPress connection
  3. Clear your cache: https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache
  4. Reconnect Facebook: https://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-services
