Connecting to Squarespace

Hello! I had my wordpress site connected to Squarespace, but last summer, I missed the payment for Squarespace and when I paid them the fee a couple months later, the site didn’t come back public (though I can see it from my own personal account). I contacted their support team, and after we tried a few things, they told me to talk to the wordpress team for help.
I’m not exactly sure what’s wrong, but they told me to send this to you just in case;

Their support document covers exactly how to connect your blog. Have you followed those instructions step by step? If so, did you get an error at any point along the way? If so, what was the error? (cut and paste or screenshot is best)I noticed it talks about domains
If you purchased a domain from WordPress and want to keep it registered with them, you can connect it to your site by following this guide.
Do you have a domain either through WordPress or from someone else?

The domain “sakebu.org” is registered via WordPress but I want to move it to Squarespace. I’m really illiterate in these things, so I’m not even sure if this makes sense at all…

I looked but could find no record of sakebu.org anywhere!That might be your problem. I will flag this for the attention of someone from WordPress who can help you find what your domain name is or perhaps help you recover it if it lapsed.
From your screenshots, it looks like you are on the free plan, which does not include a domain or the power to map a domain.

Hi Miho,
sakebu.org expired on 2016-08-04 and wasn’t renewed. It has since been released back into the pool of available domains. The domain is currently available so if you want to use it, please register it quickly :)
You can register the domain wherever you wish — if you’re using Squarespace you could also register the domain through them so that everything lives in one place.
If you want to register the domain through WordPress.com again, the name servers can be updated to point to your Squarespace site:
