Connecting unavailable TLD

  I have a query regarding the TLD when connecting a domain. I have read on one of your custom domain help pages that you do not support TLDs outside of the list that you have written out. I wanted to ask if it is possible to connect a domain that has been purchased elsewhere and is not amongst the supported TLDs. eg.: if I bought a .sk domain is there going to be any issues when connecting it on WordPress as it is not available for registration on there?

  …is just the list of TLDs that we can register here at WordPress.com. Virtually any domain registered elsewhere can can be connected to your WordPress.com account using these instructions:
