Connecting website to Anchor podcast

  A few days ago I created a site through Anchor, in hopes of connecting this blog to the podcast. Now when I try to post an episode from anchor to the WordPress blog, it is asking me to create a new website. I am wondering how to properly connect my anchor podcast to my website.

  Hi there!

  The Anchor integration does require you to create a new Anchor account when you set up the connection to your WordPress.com site. You can read more about how this works and how to make new podcasts here:

  Since it sounds like you set up Anchor first, then tried to connect to your WordPress.com site, that’s why you’re seeing issues. Existing Anchor accounts cannot be linked manually at this time.

  If you did go through the proper steps to set up your Anchor account, can you let us know what specific errors you’re seeing and where you’re seeing those (either on WordPress.com or Anchor’s site). Once we have that information, we’ll be better able to help.
