Connecting with facebook

  Well previously my wordpress account was linked with my facebook page. Recently the connection uder facebook was disconnected. So I am repeatedly trying to connect it, but ‘error to connect’ message is being shown.
  I have tried every option available in the Support section and it still not connecting.
  How to resolve this issue?
  I am a WordPress user for over 4 years and it was connected for the entire tenure. This is the first time I am facing this issue.
