connecting with Facebook main page

  I have connected Facebook to an internal page but realise I need it to link to the main page. I keep disconnecting but when I reconnect it defaults to the internal page. I cannot see how to make WordPress forget that page. I am not on a paid plan.

  Correct account: Yes

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  What is the URL of the Facebook page you’re trying to connect your WordPress.com site to?

  You can’t connect your site to facebook.com, you can only connect it to your own FB-page.

  A few hours ago, I saw that you successfully connected your WordPress.com site to your Facebook page. So I tested that connection, and it appears to be working.

  So, next time that you publish a post, it’ll automatically be shared on your Facebook page.

  Thank you for your response. I don’t think I am explaining myself well. The link I sent you should take you to my main page. What is linked on my WordPress site is not the main page but a page I created within it. I want to stop the direct link and make it go to the main page.

  I have tried logging out and re-logging in but it still goes to that subpage.

  As @staartmees indicated, you are not able to link your blog to the URL facebook.com – you can only link to Pages you personally have created on Facebook, like the Page titled Early English Queenship 600-1066 which is currently connected.

  Can you give us more information about what you’re trying to accomplish by wanting to link to the root facebook.com URL? Once we have that information, we’ll be better able to advise.
