Connecting Wix domain to WordPress site

Hello, I can’t transfer my domain or change its name servers, so I simply want to point the domain I registered with Wix to my free WordPress site. To do so, I need to edit my A (Host) and CNAME (Aliases) records. There are ‘Host name’ and ‘Value’ fields. How do I do this?

In order to connect the domain from Wix to WordPress.com you’ll need to get one of our upgraded hosting plans. You can pay for those monthly, or save some cash and pay for the full year (it’s refundable for 30 days). The details of those plans are available on https://wordpress.com/pricing/ and you can toggle between the monthly and annual payment button at the top of that screen to see the discount I’m referring to.
Once the hosting plan is added to your account, the domain can get connected by following these steps:
