Connecting Word Press to Go Daddy Hosting

  I have installed the Word Press application on Go Daddy and have my domain name that I purchased through Word Press. Go Daddy says I need to contact Word Press to change the “A” record to point the domain to the Go Daddy hosting IP address. How do I do that? After that happens, how do I manage my Word Press? Do I have to move my themes and content to Go Daddy? Is there a guide to do this?

  Hi There,

  It looks like you cannot make A record changes to the DNS through WordPress.com. You can however, change your nameservers to the Go Daddy nameservers.
