Connecting Word with my blog

  I prefer writing my blog on Word and posting it from there. Generally it is easier and I have more control over what I write. But for some reason, Word won’t let me register my blog, which is infuriating. It says ‘Word cannot register your account’ and suggests I contact my provider. What the heck is going on and how do I get Word to register my account? Microsoft’s page has been no help.
