Connecting WordPress blog to Anchor podcast

  I’ve spent hours trying to connect my page and my blog, having started each from scratch. Simple question: Has anybody actually been able to successfully connect their WordPress blog with an Anchor Podcast?

  Hi there,

  To clarify is your Anchor account an older on that you had already set up before attempting to connect? You are using the steps here to connect? https://wordpress.com/support/create-anchor-podcast/

  If so, what step are you getting stuck on specifically so we can take a closer look? Also which site is this for, I see you have a few sites under your account.

  When I could not establish a link with my original blog I started a new one for the express purpose of connecting to anchor. On the other end, I created an anchor podcast to connect to my new blog. I tried to send a blog post to Anchor via the link. Though the link took me to my new podcast’s dashboard I did not see the expected link to connect the two. This is where the process fails. I have not yet tried to go the other direction, from the podcast to Anchor.

  Hi there,

  Did you create a new Anchor account via https://anchor.fm/wordpressdotcom?

  At this time it’s not possible to connect to an existing Anchor account, so you need to create an entirely new account on that end, not just a new podcast. In the process of creating the Anchor account you’ll see the prompt to link to your site here on WordPress.com.
