Connecting WordPress with EventBrite

  • Unknown's avatar

The instructions say: Click Connect with Eventbrite to connect the widget with your Eventbrite account. This opens a page where you can log in to Eventbrite or sign up for a new account —-but I can’t find anything that says ‘Connect with Eventbrite’. WHERE is it?

    Thx!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi Gail,

The “Connect with Eventbrite” link is in the widget settings, which you can get to in the widget section of your site’s Customizer or on the Appearance > Widgets screen in the site’s WP Admin dashboard.

However, I checked and the Eventbrite widget on your site galesburgchurch.org and it’s already connected to an Eventbrite account. You can see what account it’s connected to under “Connection Status:” in the widget settings. (You can also use the “Remove” link if you’d like to remove that connection and connect it to a different Eventbrite account.)

Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

(Also, I just have to say it’s great to see your site — I graduated from Knox College and I have so much love for Galesburg!)

Small world we live in, isn’t it? Very cool. Stop by anytime!

Fun stuff aside, I am still having a problem. Only ONE event is showing up in the widget. How can I get multiple events to appear? If only one at a time shows up, the widget really doesn’t do me much good……

    Hi Gail,

I took a look at the widget settings, and I noticed that for “Venue” there was a specific location selected. For some reason, even though your two events have the same location, Eventbrite is seeing them as two different locations (so when you choose a location it limits the widget to showing just one event). I switched your widget to show “All Locations” and it’s now showing both events in your Eventbrite profile.

There may be something you can change within Eventbrite to fix up the venues, but at least for now you can show all your events by setting the widget to show events at all locations like that. Please let me know if I can do anything more to help! (And I do hope to visit Galesburg later this year — I’ll be sure to stop by!)

Most excellent! I would have never thought of that solution. I have other events to add, so wish me luck. I look forward to meeting you (you know how to reach me!) Thanks so much for the help!
