    Thanks for that. Your site is not hosted here at WordPress.com but using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.

    Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.

    Did you get that reference number from a Jetpack Monitor notification? If so, Jetpack Monitor is only a service that alerts you whether or not your site is down or slow to load when they check. Jetpack doesn’t have any ability or capability to fix problems with your site being down when they occur or indicate exactly what the problem might be.

    Based on the 140577429/server reference number – server means Jetpack got a 5xx response, meaning the server had some type of fatal error when they checked.

    If you want to know why your site is going down, you would need to check with your hosting provider and give them this information and they should be able to narrow down the source of the 5xx level errors in their server error logs.
