Connection closed?

  everytime I try to access my site I am getting a “host has unexpectedly closed the connection” error that looks like this. Started happening after transferring my domain from Google.

  Hi @chefapolloeats – you still have some A records pointing to Google, while your name servers are set to WordPress.com.

  Is your site hosted here at WordPress.com or at Google?

  If your site’s hosted at WordPress.com, head to Upgrades > Domains, and click the “Point to WordPress.com” button next to the domain chefapolloeats.com.

  it was hosted by Google but I switched to having it hosted with WordPress. I tried clicking that button but still getting the same error message

  I can see your domain was transferred from Google Domains recently (10/23) and it may be the case that the old settings you had for your domain (from Google) are not correct for your current situation.

  To be sure I’ve understood fully, can you confirm that this is the site you wish to show up at chefapolloeats.com when the public visits? Or are you trying to connect chefapolloeats.com to a different site you had previous to transferring your domain?

  

  Currently your WordPress.com site shows up at the default address of chefapolloeats.wordpress.com but if you are trying to change that to your custom address of chefapolloeats.com instead, we can help take care of that for you. :)
