Hi there!
You shouldn’t get this error on WordPress.com. Could you copy-paste into your reply the address you see in the browser so we can take a look? Thanks!

Below is the error message I get .
Your connection is not private

HI there,
That’s because you’re typing
https://www.into your browser.Either type
https://colorzrus.wordpress.com/(withoutwww),www.colorzrus.wordpress.com(withouthttps), or justcolorzrus.wordpress.com(without either) in your browser, and you won’t get any errors. But if you use both
httpsandwwwwhen typing the address, you will get that error. This is due to the way the http to https redirect works on our end, and there’s no way for us to prevent that. -
Thank you so much for this info. I will update it now.
Also can I ask – If I purchased a domain from here – will it automatically update the originally one with WordPress or is there something I need to amend from my end?
Thanks again .

Happy to help :)
If you upgrade to a custom domain and set that as the primary address on your site, we’ll automatically redirect the free WordPress.com address to that new domain. So the free address will still work, but visitors will see your domain in their browsers instead.
Note that you’ll need to be on one of our paid plans to set your domain as primary. But all our annual plans include a domain for free for the first year.

Thanks. I have already purchased the domain and was hoping to use that domain colorzrus.com in google ads. How do I change/update the primary site? It doesn’t seem to allow me to change it from WordPress to the new domain I purchased.
I wanted to ensure that the domain I purchased is what I can add/display in google ads.
Thanks again.
