Connection is reset everytime I try to edit

I use firefox on a Mac OSX. Every time I try to upload a new header image the page reads:
“The connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.”It’s been stuffing up largely with this connection being reset all the time. It hasn’t happened until yesterday, and it’s been going on since. Anyone know what’s the deal?

I’m wondering if it’s your ISP. I had one that limited the number of bytes I was allowed to upload, as some kind of braindead spam prevention device. I would contact them and ask if there are limits. I haven’t heard of this happening under any other circumstances.

Hmm, they are showing an edu IP address from down under. Can’t get specifics off of the address though. (Why do universities think the RFCs don’t apply to them all the time?!?)
They might be doing something funky like that like blocking the uploader. Kind of dumb if you ask me, especially since it’s port 80 and not 25 like Rain’s example.

Thing is, this has never happened before. I haven’t uploaded any pictures (only 1), and things had been going fine until yesterday.

When I do a traceroute to your IP address, i am seeing some very high spikes in times along the way. It may be temporary.
