Connection Not Private

    When I try to access my website I am blocked by the NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID
    I have done all the things the help page has told me to do and still I can not get to my website. When I first set up my account/page I was able to get to it just fine but after a couple weeks this message started to appear. What is going on and how do I fix it? I’ve never made a webpage before and this is all very new to me so needless to say I am beyond frustrated and angry. Please help! Thanks!

    I’m not seeing any WordPress.com sites associated with the user account you are posting from. This frequently means that you have a site using the open-source WordPress software from WordPress.org, but hosted elsewhere.

    So I originally bought the domain name from Bluehost. Do I now have to transfer the domain and buy a new subscription from WordPress?

    You will need to either transfer your domain to WordPress.com or use the Domain Mapping upgrade to use a custom domain with your WordPress.com site. Domain Mapping is included in all WordPress.com paid plans:

    Once you have purchased a plan, here is a support document that will explain how to set up Domain Mapping with your domain:
