Connection not private and 404 error.

    This morning I was working on building a new WordPress website I have been given editing access to, which uses Elementor Pro. After about an hour of creating basic pages I get a notification telling me that my session has timed out and I have to log back in. I reload the page and now whenever I try to click on the url I was given to access the site’s WordPress dashboard I initially get a warning in Chrome that my connection is not private, then when I attempt to go through anyway, a 404 error message saying the webpage cannot be found.
    I can access the site’s ‘coming soon’ page, but when I try to click through the ‘admin login’ button I get back to the 404 error.
    I have tried other wordpress sites I have editing access to and they are fine, as well as removing my browser cookies/history.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider.

    Please contact support for the Elementor plugin directly for help with that plugin. For help with site access issues, contact the admin who invited you to the site directly.

    For general help with the version of WordPress you’re using, you can ask the WordPress.org community over at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
