Connection not private and ‘!’ on ‘View My Site’

Hello! I am signing into my site for the first time in a while, ready to take up blogging again, and I have a problem. Each time I click to view my site, it tells me that my connection is not private and that the site my be ‘impersonating’ mine to steal information… you know the message. So, I cleared my cache, but I’m still having a problem. Even as I am typing this message, I have a ‘!’ message that says that this site may be a copy of WordPress with a different hosting service. I’m at a loss because it’s my information in the corner, and I accessed the account using a link to my email… please advise.

    WP.com: Unknown
    Jetpack: Yes

It looks like your site is a self-hosted website built using WordPress software. This forum we’re in now provides support for WordPress websites that are hosted by WordPress.com. For help with your self-hosted WordPress site, you can ask over at the WordPress.org forums here:

    https://wordpress.org/support/

For more information about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org you can check out this post:

It also looks like your domain needs to be renewed through your host, which is likely contributing to the security concerns. (“This domain is pending renewal or has expired. Please contact the domain provider with questions.”)

Using the ICANN lookup tool, I can see that your domain is/was hosted by Bluehost. You’ll have to renew your domain through them:

    Hope this helps!
