Connection problems between jetpack and self-hosted blog

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi there,

I connected Jetpack to my blog remotecouple.com, which was recently transferred from a different domain. On the old domain, Jetpack worked just fine. Now, the stats seem to be alright, but all the other features show bugs.
. At the insights, it says I haven’t published anything yet, even though I published three articles since connecting.
. It can’t retrieve the blog posts or pages.
. When entering the settings from the wordpress-com menu, I get: ‘There was an error retrieving your site. Make sure jetpack is up to date.’ I did, I have the latest version.
. When trying to see people or plugins, I get: ‘There was an error retrieving users[plugins]’.

I tried disconnecting and reconnecting Jetpack, but that didn’t change anything. Before and after showed the same problems.

I am using the WooThemes Theme Hub, which doesn’t allow for all the Jetpack features to work. But it wasn’t a problem before moving the site.

    What else can I do?

    Thanks,
    Anna

    Hi there,

remotecouple.com is hosted by domainfactory, not by wordpress.COM
    WHOIS: Click Here
    IP Address: 134.119.45.84
    Name Servers:
    ns.namespace4you.de
    ns2.namespace4you.de

We do not provide Jetpack support https://jetpack.me/support/ for sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page.

Some Jetpack solutions are here http://jetpack.me/support/

Others are in the Jetpack support forum at WordPress.org
    http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack

However, if help cannot be found at either one then they can file a Jetpack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

As you are referring to a site that is not hosted here, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
    Resetting your WordPress.ORG password http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page
