Connection with Adsense
-
Good day, how do I connect my site with Adsense in a way that, ads will run on it? Hence helping to generate revenue.
Secondly why is it that after getting a domain name, I still have to pay heavy to change it on my WordPress site -
Hello @Honfikky,
Thanks for posting your question!
If your website is hosted on WordPress.com you can add Adsense to it. Please take a look at the WordAds help documentation: https://wordpress.com/support/wordads-and-earn/
Secondly, did you get your domain name from an third party source?
if this is the case you’ll need an upgraded plan for it to work: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/incoming-domain-transfer/WordPress upgraded plans comes with lots of benefits which you can read about from here: https://wordpress.com/support/plan-features/
Please note that this forums are for WordPress.com hosted sites only. If your site is using the open-source version of WordPress.org software you need to seek help from WordPress.org forum with the link below:

Hi there,
Adsense can only be used on WordPress.com on our Business Plan:

WordAds and Adsense are not the same thing.
WordAds is an advertising service run by WordPress.com where we display ads on your site and you get a share of the profits.
Adsense is an only ads network owned and operated by Google, and cannot be used on WordPress.com without a Business Plan.
WordAds does use the Adsense network, so some ads displayed by WordAds comes from Adsense, but it’s only one of several ad networks we use.
