Connections Theme, text size changes in different browsers

  One of my Admins recently changed the theme of our blog to Connections, however I’ve been made aware that the text size in some of the widgets such as Recent Comments, and also in the new Polls feature is too small in Internet Explorer. Using Google Chrome and Firefox there are some minor changes to the look of the blog but Explorer seems to display the text much smaller…too small.

  Is this a basic problem with the theme itself? I know I can make the text bigger in the text box widgets but not sure its possible for comments and polls. Plus I don’t want to make the text too large in Firefox and Chrome.

  Any help appreciated, thanks

  I think there’s a problem with the html in one of your posts which is causing the problem. About halfway down the main page everything seems to shift to a small font. Check the posts for unclosed html tags.

  Yes, it is the theme. IE is just troublesome. The comments look fine, BTW.

  @vivian, check out this post. I don’t think it’s the theme, I think it’s posting from Word.

  Good catch. I’ll bet that the problem is the placement of the more tag.

  Yes it’s that post, and yes it’s the more tag, of course: it’s enclosed in a superscript html tab.

  Thanks for the help…I was trying to sort out that post a few days ago, I think the author uses Word as suggested but I couldn’t work out why I couldn’t get the text the same size…time for another go :)
