Conneting blog from volusion website

  I have a volusions website. Oaknwillow. I understand to add blog cname but I am unsure what the site is called. I think it may be oaknwillow.wordpress.com I don’t know. Please help. I tried this but didn’t link me to blog.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Can you describe in a bit more detail what you are trying to do? It is not possible to change the cname on a default WordPress.com URL (oaknwillow.wordpress.com) and the custom domain that you had mapped here previously (oak-n-willow.com) does not appear to be an active domain, though it is available for purchase, as you can see here: http://who.is/whois/oak-n-willow.com

  Go Daddy is the registrar for my domain and they pointed to
  blog.oak-n-willow.wordpress.com

  My Question. On the volusion site I will be putting an alternate URL in advanced settings. Which do I use? I am learning but this is confusing for my small brain.
  I used { blog.oak-n-willow.com} this took me to a different page not my blog

  Will the dashes cause problems? Thank you for your help. Most appreciated.

  Your upgrade here on WordPress.com is for mapping only, so you still need to manage the URL and pay to keep it active with GoDaddy, regardless of wether it is mapped here or not.

  When I visit this link, the URL does not work for me.

  When I check the WHOIS information, this domain does not show as being registered to you. It is in fact not registered to anyone at the moment, and is available for purchase.

  Can you please confirm with GoDaddy that you still own this domain?

  It sounds like you want to create a subdomain (like store.oak-n-willow.com) and to do that, you would need to use the domain manager at GoDaddy.
