Consider adding "Special Recent Post" plugin to WP.com Premium

  Hello.
  I’ve read this from http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins : “If there is a plugin that you feel is a must-have and would benefit users on WordPress.com, then please let us know in the ideas forum! Tell us what plugin you want, where it can be downloaded and most importantly, why you think it should be included on WordPress.com. All of the feedback is read, and we’re collecting the most numerous requests for implementation.”…so I’m writing this.

  I think “Special Recent Post” plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/special-recent-posts) adds a very essential but (at the same time) very useful and pleasant functionality to many kind of wordpress blogs. Integrating this plugin (which I consider the best in its category) in WordPress.com Premium by default would be a win-win.

  It shows recent posts as a list of thumbnails (in main page, for instance). These thumbnails can have a title, a little summary, a photo and more things… it’s very configurable.
