consider our NPO to be free of late renewal fee
-
We are a Charitable nonprofit organization True Life Charitable Foundation our domain tlcfindia.org got expired last February which could not be renewed due to ignorance but now when we came to know to renew our expired domain then we found that a late renewal fee 80$ is required in order to renew it. So now we being a charitable nonprofit organization request you to kindly remove this late renewal fee and consider us to be free of this late renewal charge.
Thanking.

Your expired domain has gone into the redemption period and incurred a late-renewal fee to renew. I understand your frustration, but there is nothing we can do about the late fee. It is imposed on us by our registrar (and is standard practice for every registrar that I am familiar with). It also applies to all registrants regardless of tax-exempt status.
You can find more info on domain expiration here:
We strongly encourage users to set up auto renewal to avoid this sort of issue. But even if auto-renewal is not an option, we send multiple emails alerting users of domain expiration and put alert notices on the blog dashboard when users log in.
If the domain is important to you, I highly suggest paying the late fee and renewing as soon as possible. You can choose to wait out the expiration process and let the domain be released to the public marketplace again. But there is also the very real possibility that domain squatters or someone who simply wants the name will grab it before you do.
Please let me know if any of this is unclear or if you have any questions.

We would like you to release this tlcfindia.org domain back to public marketplace. Thank you

Once a domain is expired, you will need to wait through the expiration process.
This is not something that we can speed up I’m afraid.
