Considering a Shift from Wix to WordPress.com – Seeking Advice

  Hi everyone,

  I’m currently using an Ecwid online store integrated with my Wix website. While I’m happy with Ecwid’s functionality and support, the website speed on Wix has been a major issue, and Wix support has been underwhelming.

  I’m considering shifting my Ecwid store to WordPress.com to address the performance concerns. For those who have made a similar transition:

  1. Did this shift improve your website’s performance and speed?
  2. Can I keep my current URL when moving to WordPress.com?
  3. Will this transition negatively affect my SEO?

  Additionally, I’d be open to switching from Ecwid to WooCommerce if it significantly improves website performance and overall functionality.
