Consolidating my blogs

http://bluefishway.com/ (main blog)
http://bluefishwaypoetry.com/ (I want to move contents to main blog)
http://livinginspainalonewithparkinsonsdisease.com/ (not sure what to do with this one)Good morning,
Probably a stupid question
Is there a theme on WP where I can have multiple pages with running posts (with LIKES, Comments etc.)?
I am trying to consolidate my blogs into one blog which will make my life and visitors so much easier. I am finding Bluefish Way is taking up all my blogging time and because of this the other two are on the back burner most of the time.
If there is not a theme able to do this, design one and I will be first in the queue to purchase the theme.
Thank you for your time. Ralph.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes, all of them will if you use this workaround. Just be sure and tag ALL of the posts in each blog with the name of that blog, then they’ll go in the right place: http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2010/06/30/posts-on-pages/

Thank you so much raincoaster. :D
So all I have to do is to copy/paste posts from my poetry blog into my my main blog adding a poetry category to each of them. Wow!! That will be a lot of new posts on my main blog in a short space of time. A lot of New Post emails going to my followers !! I’ll have to think about how to do it without alienating them. Any ideas?

Just a thought. Is there any way I can switch off my blog (stop it going live) while I do all this transfer work ?

It’s okay. I found a couple of threads with the recommendation of going Private after notifying the blog visitors that it will be under construction on a post. I’ll do that. Thanks for your help. Ralph

Wait, no, you don’t have to copy paste anything. You can simply use the bulk editor to make sure each blog has every post tagged with the tag or category the same as its name. Once that’s done, on the dashboard you can just go to the Tools page and Export the contents. Then, on the “central” blog you go to Tools->Import. So that means the central blog has a category which contains all the posts from the other blog. Then you use the Custom Menu to put them in your header.

Thanks raincoaster. Sounds scary. I’ll have a go at it and do what you say this weekend. Ralph

It’s done and so easy. All the LIKES were lost but no matter as the comments came across as well. Thanks again raincoaster :D Ralph

You’re welcome, glad you found it easy. You should set the other blogs to Private so that the duplication in posts doesn’t cause problems. And confirm that all the media files came over as well.

Everything came over from my poetry blog except LIKES. I am deciding what to do with the Parkinsons’ blog. Thanks again and have a great day. Ralph
