Constant Contact Universal Code

    I am trying to input code from Constant Contact (email marketing software) that will enable me to capture emails from website visitors. There are two separate codes: a universal code and inline code. The inline code is easy to implement, but I cannot figure out the universal code.
    Through my research, I am supposed to input it under the footer customization section. I am using the Astra theme, and I also use Elementor Pro. In the footer customization, I am supposed to be able to add ‘custom HTML,’ which would then transfer to the entire site, allowing me to input the inline code anywhere on the site. This does not appear though.
    A thought I had is that I am using the Elementor Pro Header and Footer plugin (which does not allow me to add the code either). Would that be disallowing me from adding the universal code to the usual area (listed above)?

    Any help would be appreciated! I have been trying to figure this out for two days now, with no luck…

    Hey there Jonathan! Your site uses a free copy of WordPress rather than our hosting service, and I’m not sure what code you’re using, but it sounds to me like the html is being stripped of script/iframes/embeds, or something similar. And I don’t know whether a plugin or your theme is doing that, or whether it’s your WordPress installation, but you can use a plugin like Health Check to eliminate some possible variables:
