Constant editing and updating?

  Can someone tell me why I have to keep editing a post and making corrections. Why doesn’t the initial “save draft” work first time? When I view the post it’s never as it should be. Likewise after editing more than a few times the end result still needs more editing? Frustrating to say the least.

  No, nobody can tell you why it’s making changes to your post until you tell us the changes it’s making.

  Well, centering never works, and media (photos) disappear when viewing post, and even after submitting I have to go back and edit again. Annoying as hell.

  And yes, I “save draft”!

  How are you centering things, and what are you centering (text, images, etc?).

  Geez, sometimes I feel like I am being strung along here with questions. I center “things” such as text and media with the “line” marks or indications. Is that not correct?

  And as I said, when I preview it’s out of whack and I have to edit again. Seems to be the norm anymore. If I am off base with all this please tell me….I just don’t get it.

  And one other thing…when I finally feel comfortable with what I am seeing I post, only to find out that a photo didn’t upload or show up?

  Sorry but we volunteers are not mind readers.

  We need to see an example of what is happening and it would be good to have some details such as which editor you are using, is it only images, or is there another problem with text, have you published a post where this issue is manifested (link please), what have you tried to compensate…

  Perhaps even info about which browser and operating system you are using. Have you tried on different computers.

  I don’t know. We cannot just guess.

  I have Windows 7, use IE 10, and I insert html code in the text area. I then go to visual to make all the needed corrections. Seems that if I center a line to divide topics or if I center links, they are always forced to the left after saving draft. I then have to edit again, and “maybe” they stay centered.

  I have also added media, saved draft but when I view post the image does not show up and I have to add it again. Eventually I can get things to work but I just don’t understand what “saving draft” really is supposed to do. I would think that it would indeed save your work first time around.
