Constant Errors trying to do anything on site

  Hi, I have been having huge issues with wordpress for a few days. I have recieved the below errors constantly when trying to edit anything on the site or even just trying to log out;
  Warning: strpos() expects parameter 1 to be string, object given in /home/peopleon/public_html/wp-content/plugins/thim-core/admin/class-thim-self-update.php on line 140

  PHP Recoverable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /home/peopleon/public_html/wp-includes/kses.php on line 1249

  I have tried;
  -reinstalling wordpress
  -disabling all plugins and readding one at a time to see if it is a plugin issue (unfortunately the errors are inconsistent meaning i cannot pinpoint one error each time)
  -I have emailed my hosting support and they don’t think its an issue with their servers.

  PLEASE HELP!! I’m at a loss

  appears to be a self-hosted installation of the WordPress.org software rather than a WordPress.com-hosted site
