Constant Spam

  Hi, latelly I constantly recieve spam comments comming from:
  forum.eagent .com/ members/ Buy Cheap Zithromax .asp
  inetryconydots @ gmail .com
  64.62.255.245

  is there any way to completly block comments from that destination?

  Try this:
  In your Dashboard, go to Settings (last tab on the bottom left) and click on “Discussion”. Scroll down to the area that says “Comment Blacklist” and add the email and/or IP address. Then scroll down and click “Save Changes”. This will mark any comment from that IP or email as Spam and hopefully will stop those comments from coming.

  Blocking IP’s is not effective. Spammers simply get another IP. Why does this bother you at all? Akismet catches the spam and all we have to do is click a button and it’s gone.

  Also note that this is a public forum and by posting the link and name of the site sending spam you are actually advertising for them, even though you do not intend to.

  Dashboard > Settings > Discussion > Comment Blacklist
