  Hello,
  I just created an account to use my Gravatar. I would like to change my email addres to and add mi website of WordPress.org. I´ve have folloed all the instrucions but I always get an error and I never get the confirmacion email to change the address. Am I doing something wrong? can you help me to solve it? THANKS!

  Hi there!

  I’m afraid that your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.

  Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.   You can look for help at the community forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

  http://wordpress.org/support/ is also a great resource for sites using the open-source WordPress.org software.

  @vozyemociones, to change the email address on your Gravatar/WordPress.com account you can follow these steps:

  https://wordpress.com/support/email-address/

  
  @adarshhalan, when replying to users, please avoid using words that may imply that you are a member of the WordPress.com staff, it may be confusing for them and set the wrong expectations. Thanks!

  That was easy.In the video I understand that the address has to be the same that I use in WP.org, is that correct?
  (I only have one website)

  Hi @vozyemociones, you’ll want to use the email address that needs to have a picture displayed. If you add more email addresses later, that’s okay too.

  Hello again,
  Must be something I am missing because I find the option to add more than one site, but only one address.
  My confusion is that I have been told that If I want an Avatar I have to register in WP.com, but I don´t really understand why, if my website is not here.

  I am a bit lost, if you can explain to me that will be great!

  Hi –

  Gravatar accounts are through WordPress.com. That’s why you need the account.
